Submitted for a Lowell Thomas award by its original publisher Globe Pequot, its successful imprint Cadogan Guides was virtually shut down after 9/11 and later bought by New Holland Publishers, which transferred its editorial operations to Australia, whose managers decided not to reprint the guidebook. A new publisher, Fox Chapel in the US, has bought New Holland's stock of travel imprints now.
